Summary:
A well-positioned site, close to Mill Hill East station, which will provide much-needed new housing in Barnet. Mill Hill East will deliver approximately 2,660 new homes, commercial uses (which will provide up to 500 jobs) and associated facilities across this 100 acre site. The development will be an exemplar of sustainable development, exceeding Government requirements for sustainable design and construction.

Planning Update:
The London Borough of Barnet has approved its Area Action Plan for Mill Hill East for submission to the Secretary of State, half of which includes the Inglis Barracks site. As such, a residential-led masterplan is being developed for Inglis Barracks along with adjacent land owners.
Future use:
A residential-led masterplan is being developed for the site, including land adjoining the Barracks, with scope for approximately 2,660 units, commercial uses and associated amenities.
Public consultation on plans: Autumn 2008.
Estimated submission for planning: Late 2008.
