Summary:
A well-positioned site close to Mill Hill East station, the Inglis Barracks' site forms a major part of the area covered by the Mill Hill East Area Action Plan (AAP) which will provide much-needed new housing in Barnet.
In the area covered by the AAP, the scheme will deliver over 2,000 new homes, commercial uses (which will provide up to 500 jobs) and associated facilities across this 100 acre area. The development will be an exemplar of sustainable development, exceeding Government requirements for sustainable design and construction.

Along with Annington Property and the London Borough of Barnet, VSM Estates is part of The Inglis Consortium – a group of landowners working together to bring forward the redevelopment of the Mill Hill East site.
Following the adoption of the AAP in January 2009, the Consortium carried out a public consultation on its proposals for the Mill Hill East site in spring 2009.
VSM Estates has developed a residential-led masterplan for Inglis Barracks in accordance with the AAP, and the Consortium submitted an outline planning application for the entire Mill Hill East site in October 2009, which was approved in September 2011
